Provided there are endless sources of movies and suggestions overflowing in the internet. I’ve tried to compile my version of a list that I’ve watched and found them worth sharing with the rest of the people.

English:

1.  3 Idiots (2009)

This Bollywood classic follows the journey of three engineering students who challenge traditional academic pressure and chase their true passions. It encourages students to follow what they love rather than blindly choosing a career based on societal expectations.

2. Dragon  (2025)

Having watched the 3 idiots movie, you might have learned what to do in your life and your career choices.
Now watch this movie and you’ll learn what not to do in your life and your career choices.
Yes, This movie tells the story opposite of 3 idiots. Yet the story and characters will hook you till the end.
It will take you through that roller coaster ride that you are in need of just by this time. 

So, A must watch recommendation from my side!!

3. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)

A film that emphasizes personal growth, friendships, and stepping out of one’s comfort zone. It teaches the importance of enjoying life while finding a meaningful career.

4. I Am Kalam (2011) 

 A touching tale of a poor yet ambitious boy inspired by former Indian President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. The movie beautifully portrays the power of dreams, education, and perseverance.

5. Rocket Singh – Salesman of the Year (2009)

A story about an ordinary sales trainee who, despite facing challenges in the corporate world, carves his own ethical path to success in business. A must-watch for aspiring entrepreneurs.

6. 12th Fail (2023)

7. Chalk n’ Duster (2016)

Nepali:

I’ve listed only three films that speaks about the history of the Nepalese society. There are tons of movies that are good and deserves to be in the list. Make sure you mention them in the comment and what you felt the best part abut the movie.

1. Prem Pinda (1995)

A historical love drama set during the Rana regime, exploring themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and the rigid class system that restricted love and dreams.

2. Basanti (2000)

A gripping political drama based on Diamond Shumsher Rana’s novel, depicting a young woman’s struggles against societal oppression in Nepal’s feudal past.

3. Seto Bagh (2015)

A historical drama that showcases the fall of the Rana dynasty through the eyes of a military officer. The film captures themes of power, politics, and destiny.

Of course, it’s not possible to fit all the good and best movies in the small list I’ve created above. You can come up with the movie suggestion and also add your version of inspiration and takeaways from that movie so that others can also relate to your experience.
